Before the big day, Christmas Day, there are going to be plenty of parties taking place, whether they are children's parties, adults parties or work parties.

Whereas in a normal party it could be more difficult to speak to people or interact with others, wearing costumes can be seen and used as a bit of an ice breaker. It could be a conversation starter and if you look silly, you can just laugh it off, like I said, a fancy dress is all for a bit of fun.
As well as dressing up helping with social development it also helps people to be creative. It encourages people to be creative and for children this can be very useful for the future when they are growing up. It may sound silly that by dressing up as a turkey or pudding this Christmas can do it, but it is true.
It especially helps us to have fun, for those who have Christmas parties in work it is a chance to let the stress of work out by having a good time and a laugh with your co-workers. A fancy dress helps us to have more fun.
